Sometimes sexual, occasionally violent, often bizarre, The Hunger never fails to fascinate and entertain.

These films, based on classic stories of the bizarre and the fantastic, are made by innovative directors of films, television, advertising and music videos, including Russell Mulcahy (Highlanders, Richochet, Queer as Folk),Christain Duguay (Screamers, Jackals, Hitler: the Rise of Evil), Patricia Rozema (White Room, I’ve Heard the Mermaids Singing, Mansfield Park) and Jake Scott (Plunkett & Macleane music videos for Radiohead and R.E.M) brought together byTony and Ridley Scott.

The first 22 episodes are hosted by actor Terence Stamp (Priscilla Queen of The Desert, Stars Wars Episode I, Wall Street), and the second 22 are hosted by world renowned singer, composer, producer and iconic artist David Bowie, whose intriguing introductions give a taste of what is to follow.

Sometimes Scary, sometimes funny, always edgy – the themes of paranoia, greed and sexual obsession are explored, revealing a final fearsome truth.
